I couldn’t believe it. I was minding my own business, when all of the sudden, I had the overwhelming urge to cry. Instantly, this grey cloud floated above my head. Incapable of changing my mood, I began to understand what I was feeling. Why had I begun crying? It was the kind of crying that makes your stomach turn and your head pound. An uncontrollable sensation. Maybe, it was the smell of vomit, or maybe it was the cold body lying beneath me. All I knew was the only thing that could bring me any sort of satisfaction was knowing that you could no longer hurt me. I’m free.
