His Eyes Were Like
By: Kayla Blaisure/ Junior Writer
His eyes were brown like pools of honey. They were rich like chocolate when we were cuddled up in blankets and bright like rays of gold when we would go for walks under the sun. They were big and expressive, they were sunken and weary when he was upset. They lit up like a light, and got luminous when he would hear good news. He had October eyes, the color of leaves blowing on a breezy day, the color of melted caramel and the perfect cup of coffee. His eyes told many stories, you could see the hurt and could then see when it would hurt a little less. You could see the love and kind soul through the alluring shades of brown.
